Gold | Watch Party Activities | Arrow Kids
Here are a few simple activities to help your
kiddos learn from the service as you join up to watch it from home.
This week, we will be talking about how just as gold is refined by fire, our faith is refined by trials.
Through faith you are kept safe by God’s power. Your salvation is going to be completed. It is ready to be shown to you in the last days. Because you know all this, you have great joy. You have joy even though you may have had to suffer for a little while. You may have had to suffer sadness in all kinds of trouble. Your troubles have come in order to prove that your faith is real. Your faith is worth more than gold. That’s because gold can pass away even when fire has made it pure. Your faith is meant to bring praise, honor and glory to God. This will happen when Jesus Christ returns.

Arrows of Triumph (2nd-5th Grade)
For the oldest children, we have a "Gold Thoughts" page. Throughout the service, kids can think about how troubles can help our faith grow. They can examine the meaning of 1 Peter 1:5-7 1 and what it means to believe that our faith is worth more than gold.

Arrow Kids (1-10yo)
Have a special family meeting with comfy pillows or blankets and snacks. Talk together about times when troubles have come into your life and how those troubles have refined your faith. Parents, use examples from your life. Then, guide your children to think through things that have happened in their lives and how those things have helped grow them closer to Christ.
Use this song to worship together after you've shared with one another.
