Prayer Journal | Instrument of Honor

Elder Collins leads us in a guided time of focused prayer.

The Lord said to Moses, “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft. And behold, I have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. And I have given to all able men ability, that they may make all that I have commanded you:
Exodus 31:1-6

To be relevant and be used for God’s services is not limited to Pastors; we are all usable vessels for God’s work if we make ourselves available and agree to be used of God. Some people say they would not mind to do God’s work but they are never available because they are too busy with their secular jobs; while others have the time, but are not willing to be used.

The truth is that obedience is what God is looking for

to work for God's purposes.

The reward for these people is that they are blessed! Their generations after them are also blessed! God’s favor is their portion, and they have His seal on them! Do a thorough check on yourself to see how much you have served and can still serve God. A tool is made use of when it is available and in proper order to be used. You cannot thoroughly use a malfunctioning tool and get perfect results. God will not force us to be used by Him; we have to willingly offer ourselves.

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then I said, "Here I am! Send me."
Isaiah 6:8

Pray & Focus

1. Heavenly Father, give me a mind of submission to Your command to serve. 2. Precious Father, grant me the heart to willingly submit myself as an instrument for Your use. 3. Father, make me an instrument of honor. Don't just make me an instrument, but make me instrument of honor for my generation.  4. Father, give me the anointing that even when I am not speaking my silence is bringing You glory.
