Share Life Together | Watch Party Activities | Arrow Kids
Here are a few simple activities to help your
kiddos learn from the service as you join up to watch it from home.
SHARE LIFE TOGETHER
This week, we will be talking about the importance of sharing our lives together with other believers during our service. Kids will be working on understanding what sharing life together means and why it is so important for the church to thrive and grow.
The believers studied what the apostles taught. They shared their lives together. They ate and prayed together. Everyone was amazed at what God was doing. They were amazed when the apostles performed many wonders and signs. All the believers were together. They shared everything they had. They sold property and other things they owned. They gave to anyone who needed something. Every day they met together in the temple courtyard. They ate meals together in their homes. Their hearts were glad and sincere. They praised God. They were respected by all the people. Every day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved.
Arrows of Triumph (2nd-5th Grade)
For the oldest children, we have a "Share Life Together Thoughts" page. Throughout the service, kids can think about communion. They can examine the meaning of Acts 2:42-47.

Arrows of Victory (Preschool-1st Grade)
For the younger learners, we have an "I'm Listening Up-Together" page. Throughout the service kids can think about what it means to do things together with someone. Then, you can talk with them about how the Bible tells us that it is important that we spend time together with other people who are following Jesus, too.

Arrow Kids (1-10yo)
For everyone, gather some paper and crayons or markers. Have you child think of one or two friends from church or elsewhere in life who are following Jesus. Talk to them about the ways that those friends help your child to be more like Jesus, too. Then, have your child make a special card, note, or picture that you can send to that friend or drop off in their mailbox. In this time when we can't all be together in person, we can still encourage one another and share life together in other ways.
Another way to share life together is by eating meals together. This week, contact another family and set up a virtual family dinner by video chatting with another family during dinner time. Spend time sharing life together and showing your children the importance of it even when we can't always physically be together. A special thing we can do with and for one another to share life together is to pray. Before your virtual dinner, use this video to talk with your kids about what prayer is, and then at the end of your virtual meal, spend some time praying with and for one another.
