A House of
Worship for All
Our Story & Mission
Founded in 1917, Bethel Temple Community Bible Church has been a cornerstone of faith for over a century. Our heartbeat is simple: to glorify God through vibrant worship, fervent prayer, and the timeless truth of the Holy Bible.
We are more than just a church; we are a community on a mission. Inspired by the call to “go into all the world and preach the Good News” (Mark 16:15), we are dedicated to sharing the hope of Jesus Christ right here in our neighborhood and across the globe. We believe in walking alongside one another, helping every person grow into spiritual maturity as they experience the life-changing love of God.
Our Mission is Clear: To make disciples, reach the lost, and renew our community in the name of Jesus Christ.
Our Desire
-
To love God through worship in praise, prayer, teaching His Word, and righteous living. (Matt. 4:10, Matt. 22:36-37, Acts 2:42, Rom. 12:1-2, Eph. 5:19-20, Heb. 13:15-16)
-
To design our worship in such a way that the people of our church minister unto God.
-
To encourage in all aspects of the church, praise and testimony of God's working in the lives of the people of the church.
-
To love one another through ministry in the body using the gifts of the Holy Spirit with the fruit of the Spirit to bring spiritual maturity to each person. (Matt. 18:15-17, 1 Cor. 12:4-6, Rom. 12:4-8, Gal. 5:22-23, Eph. 4:11-13, 1 John 4:10-11)
-
To emphasize relevant teaching of the Word of God to all ages.
-
To encourage each member to discover his spiritual gifts and interests and equip him for active ministry.
-
To love others through proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ locally and throughout the world, in order to make disciples of all who respond. (Matt. 9:36-38, Matt. 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, Acts 8:1-4, Rom. 10:13-15)
-
To train every member to share their faith with unbelievers.
-
To share the Gospel in some form in every service in which an unbeliever may be present.
-
To encourage a true love for the lost all over the world through missions.
